ABOUT
Amanda Moitoso, owner of A. Millicent Home, has been passionate about interior design since she first began rearranging and redecorating her and her friends’ rooms in middle school. She comes from a family of artists, designers, antiquities collectors and dealers, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Art History. Amanda saw the powerful effect staging can have on selling a home when her husband, a real estate agent in Fairfield, begged her to help spruce up and stage a house which had been on the market for years. After creating a polished yet relaxed space in which potential buyers could picture themselves living, her husband’s client was thrilled to accept an offer an hour after the first open house was held. Seeing the success she could help others achieve in selling their most valuable asset, Amanda began A. Millicent Home Staging and Design. In addition to staging, Amanda also teaches kindergarten, and as a mother of two young boys, is no stranger to handling a million things at once while staying enthusiastic, engaged, and organized. She thoroughly relishes the opportunity to help others during what can be a stressful time for many - selling their home. A personalized design and full staging of your home with a minimum two-month staging rental. Bring life to your home with pieces that evoke its best qualities and help potential buyers envision themselves living in the space. Relax and enjoy the benefits of having all of the work done for you!
B.) Design Consultation and Updating
A personalized design including accessories purchased within your budget. A simple option if you want to modernize your home with small updates without renting furniture. You have the option of either renting these accessories or keeping them for yourself after your house sells.
C.) Design Consultation and Organizing
Feeling overwhelmed with cluttered areas in your home? Not sure where to start? Let me help you! Organizing and de-cluttering your home will allow potential buyers to imagine the space as their own. Organizing services will be priced per hour.
D.) Design Consultation/DIY
If you’re on a tight budget, this is the best option for you. You’ll be provided with a design consultation and recommendations and ideas of ways to spruce up your home to get it ready to show. I’ll provide stores (online or brick and mortar) within your budget that provide these items that will help show off all that your home has to offer.
